What a beautiful day!

Good morning!

Just back from doing the school and nursery run. Bella Rose is fast asleep, so some time for me to chill (once the chores are done).

It' s a beautiful sunny crisp morning, i love it! I really can't wait until the spring/summer, hope we have a decent one this year. I've bought the kiddies some summer clothes already, i got some bargains in the sales.

I think we are going over to Belfast in the summer to visit my OH's family. Kiddies are excited to meet their relatives. We will also be going on lots of days out to st Andrews, Edinburgh, Montrose, Carnoustie and many other places. Kiddies love the park and beach in Carnoustie and St Andrews.

I got rid of my car a couple if years ago due to the sheer expense of running it. So we travel around by train, bus, tube and of course we walk ALOT. It is like a big adventure for the kiddies, they love it! Infact they hated the car.

I'm rambling a little here, i'm just super excited that winter is coming to an end and we are getting closer to spring/ summer which means loads more travelling and new adventures.

I will be keeping my blog updated with all our travelling adventures, so watch this space!

My little Bella Rose

My mum got this hat for Bella as a gift. It is hand knitted and so lovely and girlie.

I was a little worried about her wearing it due to the feather like detail around the edges. However, it's fine and none of the little feather bits come away. It is very well made. Bella got lots of complements.

I also found a ladie on Ebay who knits little crochet shoes, they are stunning and a bargain price. I've bought a few pairs in different colours.

I'm loving knitted baby clothes at the moment.

How many is too many??

Good Afternoon

I just thought i would share a topic braught up at the school gates.

Some of us mummies were discussing how many children we would like. while i have already got 4 little ones, it got me thinking. At the moment i have got my hands full, but i know a few years down the line i would love to have another baby if we were able to. However my OH has made it clear that we're not having any more babies.

I don't feel that my child bearing days are over just yet. I always feel broody, and seeing pregnant women triggers this even more.

I know that we are very blessed to have happy healthy children and i'm very grateful i have been given the gift of being a mother.

I must just be one of those maternal ladies:-)

Hi fellow bloggers

I'm new to this and this is my first ever post.
I will mostly be blogging about my parenting journey, sharing my stories (good and the bad) and some random stuff along the way!

I'm looking forward to getting the hang of blogging and hope people enjoy reading my up coming posts.
